The Dealer Benefits Program is open all year for Authorized U-Haul Dealers and business employees to self-enroll through our dedicated and secure national private health exchange.

If you’re reading this page, you’re already on the Benefits Program website. Simply go to the tab at the top of the Home Page for the benefits you’re interested in reviewing and enrolling.

The national Open enrollment period for 2026 federally-qualified comprehensive individual/family major medical insurance plans begins November 1, 2025 and we can help you find a health plan that will work for you on our private health exchange powered by our partner eHealth.

Here are some of the plan choices available right now through the Dealer Benefits Program:

It’s all voluntary.

• Dental and Vision – Your choice of affordable Dental and Vision benefits that cover you apart from your Medical insurance plan.
• “Fixed Benefit” Health — Selected health insurance plans from our affiliate Golden Rule that pay a stated dollar amount to YOU for covered care you receive, regardless of the actual expense or payment made to your care provider by your major medical plan. 
• Supplemental health — Selected health insurance plans from our affiliate LifeSecure for critical illnesses, accidents and hospital expenses. Be better prepared for unforeseen health situations and large budget-busting claims that can result, even after your regular health insurance pays its share.
• Group Health for Small Business – the traditional way U-Haul Dealers solve the problem of providing health coverage for themselves, family members and business employees.
• Temporary or Short-Term Medical insurance plans (Up to 4 months coverage allowed under federal rules).
• Life Insurance – Made easy online through our affiliate Ethos.
• Special Enrollment period mid-year – If you want to enroll in a health plan but it is outside the annual OPEN enrollment period each fall, you need to have a qualifying “Life event” such as a change of residence to a new state, marriage or birth of a child.
